A gift is something you are given freely...it is something that you do not pay for but you are given....So life is a gift...you have life to do whatever it is that you want with it..why not make it count.
when you are given a gift by someone you show appreciation and you acknowledge that you have received something from that person.
same way life is a gift and the giver is God. he chooses who he gives this gift every day, hour ,minute, second...he decides and no one knows what the criteria for this life gift that he gives is or what it is that you have to do, to be or to say to merit this gift from him but if you are reading this then he has given you this gift and graciously so.
Humans give gifts only when you deserve it maybe its your birthday or its Christmas or you have done something good to warrant your being given a gift from them...
But this gift that is life can anyone tell me what great deed they needed to do to deserve this gift...
Yet people instead of being grateful spend time complaining about every single thing that they think is wrong about this Life that they have so graciously been given...
How would you feel when you gave someone a gift and they complained rather than being grateful...
I am sure if we had to pay to get this gift that is life just a handful of people would be able to afford it..I know that I would never be able to afford it...
lets just be thankful and grateful for this gift because many of those who the gift wasn't given to this minute would have done anything possible to continue to receive this gift...
lets take out time to thank HIM for this gift and not focus on anything else....
Dear Lord, I am alive and I am thankful....
